A ring of green Rococo scrollwork trims the flange of this plate with a second ring at the outer edge creating grounds for pink and green diaper work. Pink and green floral clusters create a lighter inner border and center bouquet.

The pink and green contrast is a bit more marked here than usual. The green is a deep forest green while the pink is a very delicate wine pastel more like that found in peonies or pink roses.
