These black transfer cups and saucers feature an overflowing fruit basket still life in the center of the saucer framed by a scroll border. Grape clusters alternating with strawberry and cherry clusters create a border for the flange of the saucer, again finished with the same scroll border. The cups feature two fruit baskets on the exterior alternating with grape clusters and variations on the theme for the interior decoration.

There are at least two other patterns built around fruit studies. One is a Ridgway variation on "Fruit Basket" and the other is a study of fruit alone--"Fruit Garden" (maker unknown). The three complement each other nicely.
