Random floral and fruit clusters achieve a sense of spontaneity with love birds and a butterfly which seem to have temporarily alighted. The arrangement is contained on the scalloped plate by a line of beadwork and printed pinstripe floral detail.

We have noted two other patterns which seem to share an artwork source with this pattern--Enoch Wood's "Pagoda" and the unknown maker's "British Flowers". All three share a sense of lightness and nature's bounty.
