Description:	The English use of rococo silver shapes is evident here in the general silhouette as well... The English use of rococo silver shapes is evident here in the general silhouette as well as the molded "strap fluted" treatment of the background relief and the scalloped shape of the beaded reserve panels. The painted floral pattern, developed for use on this shape in the mid-1760's, emphasizes rim and panel details. More

Dimensions:	Length 7 5/8 in., Height 4 1/8 in.
Condition:	Fine. A couple of minute nicks to rim and a couple of short firing lines in rim and foot (app. 1/4 inch)
