The Nineteenth Century Byronic obsession with the exotic near east pops up again in "Tippecanoe". A finely scaled floral and fern border surrounds a scene of maiden and exotic guide discussing the walled compound across the water.

John Wedgewood's "Tippecanoe" seems to be the renamed "Singanese" pattern of the defunct Ralph Hall and Co. It is one of a group of complementary patterns sharing similar borders and color values. We feel they lend themselves well to multi-color groupings.
