Maestricht offers their version of the "Hannibal" pattern titling this simply "Hanibal". The center scene portrays elephant and horsemen in Alpine combat. A border of floral trellis and scenic reserves featuring elephants frames the pattern.

We do not generally venture into continental European ceramics, however in this case given the close connection with Elkin, Knight & Company's "Hannibal Passing The Alps" and the black transfer color, we decided to make an exception.
