The domed lid Wedgwood tea caddy provides ideal spaces for sprig decoration. The light blue jasper dip body provides wonderful, soft contrast for the crisp sprigwork. The primary decoration around the lower section of the piece features four sprig groups separated with trellis devices. A classical wave pattern circles the neck while the domed lid is finished with radial leaves around the little blue knop.

While the concept of the Wedgwood tea caddy may be arcahaic, we find the shapes to be really charming. We are particularly fond of the graceful domed design of the piece at hand.
