A softly faceted lid and tray are finished with cobalt floral knop, handles and edging on the molded tray handle fittings, setting off a tight order of borders and views. Scenes are chosen from about twenty two Oxford and Cambridge views in the series.

Ridgways "Oxford and Cambridge College Series" uses a series of university views framed in an eight sided panel with a convolvulous and floral border surrounding two pair of goat and cherub classical reserves. Coysh and Henrywood identify nineteen views.
